Hieroglyphic script of Cretan Minoan civilization (2100–1700 BC). Believed to be the precursor to Linear A, undeciphered to this day and not yet Unicode-encoded. ~300 artifacts on seals, clay tablets, and metal objects survive. Together with Linear A, the greatest linguistic mystery of Minoan civilization — considered a key to unlocking the secrets of Aegean Bronze Age culture.
