Sindhi (Arabic script)

Arabic-based system for Sindhi, the official script of Pakistan's Sindh province with 52 unique phonetic signs. The modern script of Sindh, heartland of the ancient Indus Civilization. The great Sufi poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai is transmitted in this script. While Hindu Sindhis in India use Devanagari, Pakistani Sindhis use this script — two writing systems coexisting for the same language.
