Script of the Jurchen people of the Jin dynasty (1115–1234), created by Wanyan Xiyin in 1119 under the influence of Chinese and Khitan. Even after the Jin was conquered by the Mongols, it continued in some regions. Its descendant, the Manchu script, became the official script of the Qing dynasty and is still used in Inner Mongolia today.
