아랍 문자 기반의 신디어 표기 체계.
아랍 문자 기반의 신디어 표기 체계. 파키스탄 신드 주의 공식 문자이며, 52개의 독자적 음소 표기를 포함한 정교한 체계다. 고대 인더스 문명의 중심지였던 신드 지역의 현대 문자로, 수피 이슬람 시인 샤 압둘 라티프 비타이의 위대한 시가 이 문자로 전해진다. 인도의 힌두 신디족은 데바나가리를 사용하는 반면, 파키스탄에서는 이 문자를 사용해 같은 언어의 두 가지 문자 체계가 공존한다.
