Telugu Script

Script for Telugu, used by ~82 million people. Called "the Italian of the East" for its melodic beauty, it is considered one of the world's most elegant scripts. Official in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, it is the language of "Tollywood" — one of India's largest film industries. Its current form was established in 11th-century Chalukya dynasty inscriptions.
