Dzongkha Script

The Tibeto-Burman language family encompasses 300+ languages across a vast area, each using diverse scripts. From the Himalayan valleys to Southeast Asian highlands, dozens of independent writing traditions survive — Tibetan, Burmese, Tamang, Newari, Lepcha, and more. Most scripts in this family are Brahmic in origin, but Burmese/Thai occupation and Chinese influence have taken each down very different historical paths.
